Refund policy
REFUND POLICY - DON'S CUSTOM APPAREL
Effective Date: February 27, 2026
CUSTOM PRODUCTS - NO REFUNDS
All products sold by Don's Custom Apparel are made-to-order and customized specifically for each customer.
Because of the custom nature of our products:
• All sales are final • No refunds will be issued for custom orders once production has begun • No exchanges for custom products (unless defective or damaged) • Orders cannot be cancelled once production begins (typically within 24-48 hours of design approval and payment)
EXCEPTIONS - WHEN WE WILL ISSUE REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS
We stand behind the quality of our work. We will issue a refund or replacement in the following cases:
1. Defective Products: • Product has manufacturing defects (misprints, incorrect colors, poor quality) • Product is damaged during production (not shipping)
2. Our Error: • We printed the wrong design • We shipped the wrong product or quantity • We made an error in production that affects the quality
3. Damaged During Shipping: • Product arrives damaged due to shipping (see Shipping Policy for details) • Customer must provide photos within 7 days of delivery
4. Order Not Received: • Order never arrives and tracking shows lost or undeliverable (not due to customer error)
WHAT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND
We cannot issue refunds or replacements for:
• Customer design errors - If you approved a design with errors (spelling mistakes, wrong colors, incorrect information), we cannot refund or replace the order • Size issues - If you ordered the wrong size, we cannot refund or exchange (please refer to our size charts before ordering) • Color variations - Slight color variations between screen display and printed product are normal and not eligible for refund • Change of mind - Once production begins, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded due to change of mind • Delayed delivery - Shipping delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control are not eligible for refund • Lost or stolen packages after delivery - Once marked "delivered" by carrier, we are not responsible • Incorrect shipping address - If you provided an incorrect address, we are not responsible for lost packages or reshipping fees
HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT
If you believe your order qualifies for a refund or replacement:
Step 1: Contact Us Within 7 Days • Email: Contact@donscustomapparel.com • Include your order number • Describe the issue in detail
Step 2: Provide Photo Evidence • Take clear photos of the product showing the defect or error • Include photos of packaging if damaged during shipping • Send photos via email
Step 3: We Review Your Request • We will review your request within 1-2 business days • We may ask for additional information or photos • We will determine if the issue qualifies for refund or replacement
Step 4: Resolution • If approved, we will offer a replacement or refund (our choice) • Replacement orders will be prioritized and shipped ASAP • Refunds will be issued to original payment method within 5-7 business days
DESIGN APPROVAL PROCESS
To avoid errors and ensure customer satisfaction:
• All custom orders require design approval before production • You will receive a digital mockup for review • You are responsible for reviewing and approving the design carefully • Check spelling, colors, placement, and all details • Once you approve the design, production begins and orders cannot be cancelled or refunded
Important: We are not responsible for errors that were present in the approved design mockup.
BULK ORDERS (48+ SHIRTS)
Bulk orders have additional policies:
• 100% prepayment required before production begins • No refunds once production begins • No cancellations after design approval • Sample approval may be required for very large orders (100+ shirts) • Contact us before placing bulk orders to discuss terms
PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
If you have an issue with your order:
• Contact us first at Contact@donscustomapparel.com • We will work with you to resolve the issue • Do not file a chargeback without contacting us first
Chargeback Policy:
• Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in:
- Suspension of future orders
- Legal action to recover costs
- Reporting to fraud prevention services
• We will provide all order documentation (design approvals, communications, tracking) to dispute invalid chargebacks
REFUND PROCESSING TIME
If a refund is approved:
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method • Processing time: 5-7 business days • Bank processing may take an additional 3-5 business days • You will receive email confirmation when refund is issued
STORE CREDIT
In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund:
• Store credit can be used for future purchases • Store credit does not expire • Store credit is non-transferable
